A football roster, built from Pokémon

The All 22 Pokémon game turns an American-football lineup into a scouting problem. You choose 11 offensive starters and 11 defensive starters, then decide whether each Pokémon’s published base stats, size and type make sense for the job. A fast favorite may be useful at receiver or cornerback; a heavy, defensive species may be more valuable on the line. The position matters more than a familiar battle role.

This site is a companion, not a clone or embedded copy. Use the yellow link to play on the creator’s site. Use the tools here when you need a readable explanation: search a species, inspect a complete formation, compare open draft spots, or learn why Special Attack matters to a quarterback while Weight matters to a nose tackle. Recommendations are qualitative because the creator keeps the exact grading numbers private.

02 / RECOMMENDED LINEUP

One legal board, with reasons you can audit

The preview uses a Fullback offense and a 3–4 defense: QB, HB, FB, two WRs, TE and five offensive linemen; then two DEs, one NT, two OLBs, two ILBs, two CBs and two safeties. All 22 species are unique. The board is intended for the open Builder pool, not as a predetermined 17–0 or 151 Challenge roster, where random draft restrictions decide who is actually available.

Select any player on the field to see the relevant public traits. The full page adds offense and defense lists, position-by-position explanations, alternatives and a restriction audit. It deliberately avoids a synthetic score and does not claim the lineup is mathematically optimal.

Choose the mode before you choose the roster

The same public scouting priorities run through the site, but the pool and decision pressure change. These summaries reflect the current original-site descriptions; use the linked challenge guides for the rules that affect a run.

01

Builder

Choose from the available generations, set a legal offense and defense, move players between spots, then save or share the finished lineup. The Builder does not display a Team Score.

02

17–0 Challenge

Each round combines a rolled region with a rolled type. Fill one open position, manage the run-wide rerolls and stay under the three Legendary-or-Mythical cap before playing a 17-game season.

151 Challenge

A random species from the original 151 arrives each round. Place all 22 while deciding when one of the five run-wide Pokémon rerolls is worth using.

04 / QUICK ANSWERS

All 22 Pokémon game FAQ

Verified against the original project pages on October 15, 2026.

How do I start playing?

Use “Play original game” to open all22pokemon.com. Begin in the Builder if you want unrestricted lineup practice, or select a challenge when you want a controlled draft and season. This companion remains open for position explanations.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The creator describes the project as a browser-based fan site with nothing to download. This guide also runs in the browser and keeps its Pokémon scouting dataset as a local static file.

Is the original game free?

Yes. The project’s About page says it is free, with no ads and no paid features. Links on this site are clearly marked when they leave for the original project.

Can I play with friends?

The original project includes a Fantasy Draft with friends or computer opponents. It uses a snake draft and season play. Room creation and invitations happen on the original site, not in this guide.

Are these exact in-game ratings?

No. PokéAPI supplies the visible base stats, size, taxonomy and artwork. The position priorities come from the creator’s public scouting guide. Our suggestions compare those facts qualitatively; we do not reproduce the private formula or invent a fit score.

Who made All-22 Pokémon?

The original project credits @ColeThereum as its creator and @OldTownJB for the All-22 idea. This website is an independent strategy companion and is not affiliated with them, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures or The Pokémon Company.
